Welcome to the Emus Orienteering Home Page

Emus Orienteering (originally Nillumbik Emus (NE)) is one of the larger and more active orienteering clubs in Victoria. While the majority of members hail from the Eastern and North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, NE has members right across Melbourne and other parts of Victoria. 

Our website is designed to be of value to orienteers of all ages and experience:

• to newcomers who want to know more about orienteering,
• to more existing participants who want to know more about orienteering
• to members, or prospective members, who want to know more about the club
• and to experienced orienteers looking for information about current events and the results of recent events.

Training

Emus Orienteering Club takes training seriously. The club runs introductory bush orienteering sessions at the beginning of the orienteering season. In addition, it provides a comprehensive set of introductory material and course notes on a variety of orienteering subjects.
